Pug Party

I just had to share this little sketch.
I read someplace that you are at your most creative when you first wake up. This totally makes sense, since you’ve just slipped out of a dream state and into the cool, quiet daze of morning. The small lapse of time between waking up and starting the busyness of another day is my absolute favorite time. It’s made even better with a cup of coffee and my sketchbook. Yesterday morning I woke up and drew this little puppy while making oatmeal. There is just something about pets and parties that is too cute. Ironically, I ended up taking some of my Senior photos that day and wore a party hat most of the shoot! I was very inspired… I can’t wait to get home and give this little guy some color!
